Convey Bros are also heavily involved in final builders cleans, working for many years for all major building contractors.

We are totally compliant with Health & Safety having our own in house qualified Health & Safety manager and are proud of our
impeccable safety record. All our fleet use the latest reach and wash systems and staff are fully trained in the use of cherry pickers (IPAF), cradles and scaffolding (PASMA).

WINDOW CLEANING

Convey Bros (Gateshead, Newcastle) currently employ over 40 full time window cleaners servicing the North East of England (Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland etc...) and is the foundation of which our company was built. We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of service whilst keeping our prices at a realistic and competitive level.

We undertake all aspects of window cleaning, from small residential blocks up to large corporate and commercial offices.

Specialising in high access cleaning, we use the very latest in water purification technology, reach and wash systems and have all types of hydraulic platforms at our disposal.

HIGH PRESSURE CLEANING

Washing buildings, walls, pavements etc, we can remove dirt grime, algae, moss and a whole host of other unwanted substances. We offer an environmentally friendly way of cleaning and rarely need to resort to aggressive chemicals.

DAILY OFFICE CLEANING

Whether your company is small or large, we have the experience and professionalism to offer a cleaning service tailored to suit you. We are committed to detail and can guarantee a dramatic improvement in the appearance of your office..

CARPET CLEANING

The life extension of your carpets and the hygiene in your office will be greatly improved if your carpets are professionally cleaned at least once per year. We use the latest in hot and cold water extraction systems and we are confident you will be happy with the results and that no damage or colour loss will occur.

BUILDERS CLEANS

We have vast experience in all types of builders cleans working for all major contractors in the area and can take on any size of contract whether it be a small office to multi storey buildings.

Our mix of experience, care and attention to detail, combined with our understanding of the building industry allows us to offer a very high standard of service.

KITCHEN DEEP CLEANING

We aim to carry out our cleaning without upsetting your work schedule. Cooking equipment is dismantled by hand, fully deep cleaned and re-assembled. Kitchen extraction units are degreased internally and externally including all lights, ceilings, walls, floors and kitchen fixtures and fittings.

Convey Bros (Gateshead, Newcastle) recognise that if we are to achieve and maintain consistent high levels of health & safety and quality of service. We must provide suitable and sufficient training that is tailored to meet the companies and our employee’s individual needs.

We provide induction training, job specific training and refresher training to ensure all employees are highly competent in the use of the equipment required to carry out and complete their work to a high standard.

Our training program is extensive and continues throughout the year maintaining and improving our employee’s skills.

EMPLOYEE TRAINING

Our employee-training program includes:

• Induction training.
• Window cleaning techniques, using applicators & squeegees.
• Window cleaning techniques, using the reach & wash system.
• The safe use of extension ladders.
• The safe use of extension poles.
• The selection, inspection, fitting & wearing of personal protection equipment.
• The manual handling of work equipment.
• IPAF operators certificate for scissors & booms.
• IPAF harness certificate.
• PASMA scaffold certificate.
• The safe use of access cradles (manual & powered).
• Appointed persons first-aid.
• Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS).
• Supervisors training.
• Toolbox Talks.

We also recognise that management training is vitally important to ensure we can deliver and continually improve site safety and the quality of service provided to our customers.

MANAGEMENT TRAINING

Management training/further education courses include:

• Business management techniques.
• BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System internal auditing courses.
• Manual handling train the trainer course.
• Risk assessment.
• COSHH assessment.
• nebosh National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.
• OCR level 4 NVQ in Occupational Health and safety Practice.
• OCR level 5 NVQ in Occupational Health and safety Practice.
