|At Convey Bros we fully understand our legal obligations under The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and current health & safety legislation. We are committed to the provision of a safe working environment for our employees and others who may be affected by our work activities.
To ensure we comply with these obligations we have appointed an in house Health & Safety Manager who is a Chartered Member of The Institution of Occupational Safety & Health.
|Convey Bros regard health and safety as the most important factor within our business activities and are committed to the constant development of a positive safe working culture and work closely with our employees and our customers to achieve this goal.
A fundamental part of providing a safe system of work is risk assessment. During site surveys, risk assessments and working at height assessments are completed; these documents are used to formulate safe working method statements.
These method statements are communicated to all employees and provided to our customers prior to the commencement of any work activity. They are monitored and reviewed by our safety committee to ensure we maintain a safe working environment and keep pace with improvements in health and safety practice.
|Convey Bros have been assessed as demonstrating high levels of health & safety: In recognition of this achievement we are proud to have been awarded the prestigious accreditation certificates from Safe contractor, Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) and Constructionline
Convey Bros will provide the opportunity for customers to carry out audits on our health & safety systems and procedures. Alternatively you can request copies of our health & safety policy & arrangements.
